The Stabiliser range consists of 10 products that reduce blood glucose levels in 4 different ways - block carbohydrates, reduce glucose synthesis, promote glucose storage and promote insulin secretion.

Stabiliser Complex

A unique combination of all four anti-diabetic actions which includes nine powerful pure concentrates. The 4-in-1 action works to reduce and stabilise blood glucose in conjunction with prescribed anti-diabetic medication and may help patients become less dependent on high doses of chronic medication. The Stabiliser Complex can be used with other products in the Stabiliser range to reduce chronic or severe diabetic conditions until the desired results are achieved.

Recommended for Prediabetics, patients with moderate diabetes and those with chronic diabetes with other products within the stabiliser range.

Block Carbohydrates

The natural carbohydrate blocking action of Diabetes Control Stabiliser range reduces the digestion or break down of carbohydrates by inhibiting the action of α-amylase and α-glucosidase to control post-meal hyperglycaemia & manage short term glucose spikes.
Complex carbohydrates which are made up of simple carbohydrates linked together must be first broken down into glucose to be used as an energy source. In the body, the two main substances, or enzymes, involved in this process are called α-amylase and α-glucosidase. α-glucosidase is the enzyme that when breaking down carbohydrates leads to the increase in blood glucose after eating (medically termed post-meal or post-prandial hyperglycaemia).
Recommended for Type 2 diabetic patients with uncontrolled appetite: use ①Fenugreek Fibre + ②Kidney Bean Extract or ③Saptrangi. Type 2 diabetic patients who are overweight or obese: use of all three carbohydrate blockers is recommended. (higher dosages are required to treat obesity).

Fenugreek Fibre Pure Concentrate

Fenugreek seeds are helpful for people with diabetes. The seeds contain fibre that slows down digestion and the absorption of carbohydrates and sugar by targeting the enzyme α-amylase.

Kidney Bean Pure Concentrate

Kidney bean extract helps block or neutralize the digestion of carbohydrates by targeting α-glucosidase. By blocking this enzyme, kidney bean extract can limit the body's ability to turn complex carbohydrates (starches) into sugar and fat. Kidney Bean Extract involves an indirect approach to weight loss through this mechanism.

Saptrangi Pure Concentrate

Saptrangi is an important herb that controls blood glucose levels by preventing carbohydrate absorption. After consuming food rich in carbohydrates, Saptrangi normalizes elevated glucose level by targeting the enzyme α-glucosidase.

Saptrangi delays the digestion and in turn the absorption of carbohydrates in the small intestine. These carbohydrate blockers slow the final stages of carbohydrate digestion, preventing the entry of glucose into blood circulation and improves glucose handling. They may also be used for effectively treating obesity.

Reduce Glucose Synthesis

Preventing sugar cravings and absorption are two important mechanisms in the management of diabetes mellitus.
Anti-sweetness molecules are required to fill the receptor locations on the taste buds, thereby preventing its activation by sugar molecules present in the food, helping to curb sugar cravings.
Similarly, these molecules fill the receptor location in the absorptive external layers of the intestine, thereby preventing its absorption, which results in low blood sugar levels.

Gymnema Pure Concentrate

The plant Gymnema Sylvestre “GS” is regarded as having potent anti-diabetic properties. The use of GS in Ayurvedic medicine dates back more than 4000 years. It is also called gurmar, which when translated from Hindi means “destroyer of sugar”.

Gymnemic Acid molecules are responsible for its anti-diabetic action. They bind with glucose molecules in the intestines & inhibit their entry into the bloodstream.

Gymnma causes better glycemic control, reduces hyperlipidemia and therefore delay secondary complications.

Promote Glucose Storage (Glycogen)

Glycogen is a stored from of glucose and is essential in regulating blood sugar levels, playing an important role in achieving homeostasis.
Charantin, a natural bioactive ingredient, increases glucose uptake and glycogen synthesis in the cells of the liver, muscle, and adipose tissue. Together with other compounds they are responsible for reducing blood sugar levels in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

Karela Pure Concentrate

Karela, known in English as Bitter Gourd, is a plant that gets its name from its taste. As the plant ripens, so too does its bitterness. The Karela fruit is widely known for its anti-diabetic activity.

Karela is linked to lowering the blood glucose in the body because it has properties that act like insulin, which helps bring glucose into the cells for energy. Karela can help cells use glucose and move it to the liver, muscles, and fat. Studies have shown that as much as 86% of patients using Karela achieved lowered blood glucose.

Karela is a proven hypoglycemic agent. One of the active ingredients, based on the bitter principle is Charatin which, stimulate insulins secretion by regeneration of β cell and induces glucose uptake in liver (Glycogen).

Promote Insulin Secretion

Diabetes Control offers 4 effective concentrates to promote insulin secretion or production.
Insulin is a peptide hormone secreted by the β cells of the pancreas islets and maintains normal blood glucose levels by facilitating cellular glucose uptake, regulating carbohydrate, lipid and protein metabolism and promoting cell division and growth through its mitogenic effects.
Patients with moderate type 2 diabetes (i.e., having a blood glucose range of 7-10 mmol/L): Use ⑧ Berberine Pure Concentrate or ⑥ Cinnamon Bark Pure Concentrate + ⑦ Vijayasar Pure Concentrate, or ⑨ Chromium Picolinate + Alpha lipoic acid. Patients with severe type 2 diabetes (i.e., having a blood glucose range of 11-20 mmol/L): use ⑧ Berberine Pure Concentrate + Stabiliser Complex or Gymnema.

Cinnamon Bark Pure Concentrate

Cinnamon may help lower blood sugar by imitating the effects of insulin and increasing glucose transport into cells. It can also help lower blood sugar by increasing insulin sensitivity, making insulin more efficient at moving glucose into cells. Cinnamon also has the potential to lower blood sugar following meals, by slowing the rate at which food empties from the stomach and blocking the enzymes involved in digestion.

Vijayasar Pure Concentrate

Vijayasar is popularly known as a “miracle remedy for diabetes” in Ayurveda medicine. It helps in managing blood sugar levels by preventing the damage of cells of the pancreas and enhancing insulin secretion.

Berberine Pure Concentrate

Berberine has been shown to significantly lower blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes by decreasing insulin resistance, helping insulin to be more effective. Other ways it works include helping the body break down sugars inside cells, reducing glucose production in the liver or slowing the breakdown of carbohydrates in the body. Studies have shown the effectiveness of berberine to be comparable to certain prescribed anti-diabetic medications. It also has potential in cholesterol management by reducing the “bad” cholesterol while raising the “good” cholesterol.

Chromium Picolinate

Chromium picolinate is a form of the mineral chromium and may be effective at improving the body's response to insulin or lowering blood sugar in patients with diabetes.
